Say you want to tell someone “I gave it to him” in Galician. You know the verb: dei, I gave. You know lle is “to him” and o is “it”. Putting them together is the hard part: deillo, one word, with both pronouns on the end.
Verba 1.4 does that part for you. On a verb’s conjugation screen, tap the link button at the top, or any form in the tables. Pick when, who, to whom and what, and Verba builds the form, tells you where the pronoun goes, and shows the Spanish next to it: se lo di. You can also show one pronoun on every form in the tables. Negative commands and que non are included.
Search understands these words too. Type deillo and Verba finds give, and shows how the word splits: dei + lle + o.

How the pronouns join and where they go is in a new guide: How Galician Builds díxenllo.
Also in 1.4
- Adding a word is easier: one card per language, examples that fit the kind of word, and the first meaning and themes right on the form. How to add a word in Verba walks through it.
- Save for Later: catch a word in a second from search, the share sheet, Siri or Spotlight, and finish it when you have time.
- Review asks for one language at a time, and the answer shows the other language with an example sentence.
- A Flashcard widget: recall a word on your Home Screen and tap to check it.
- Notifications you can act on: Save on the Word of the Day, and Review Now or Later Today on the daily reminder.
- Grammar guides open on a short Start Here list, and read in plainer English.
- Backups include your review progress and unfinished words, and Verba reminds you to export one now and then.
- A new icon: a gold card on the deep Galician flag blue, which adapts to dark, clear and tinted Home Screens. Teal and Gold in Settings → Display → Accent now match it, and your notes take the gold.
- iPad and iPhone Duo: on a wide screen, a verb’s entry sits next to its conjugations, and the Galician and Spanish tables sit side by side.
- Feminine forms for 44 more words for people (gobernadora, ministra, jueza), and many smaller corrections.
