Verba is a dictionary and verb conjugator. Your privacy is simple: Verba does not collect, store, or share any personal data automatically, and requires no account.

Key points

No account or sign-in is required.
Verba collects no analytics, usage data, or device identifiers.
Words you add to your dictionary are stored only on your device. If you export them, the file goes wherever you choose to save it: it is never sent to us.
No ads, and no third-party tracking.
Verba works fully offline.

Suggest a word

Verba has an optional "Suggest a word" / "Request" feature. If you choose to use it, Verba opens your device's email app with a pre-filled message, the word you're suggesting, addressed to verba@amongthestones.com. Nothing is sent unless you decide to send that email yourself.

If you send it, we receive the message and your email address, which we use only to consider the suggestion and, if needed, to reply. This is the only situation in which any information reaches us, and it is entirely initiated by you.

Changes

If future features ever involve collecting data, this policy will be updated before those features ship.
